Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Define, develop and implement the end-to-end supply model aligned with the business and market requirements
  • Analyze E2E supply cost covering FCP, logistics and handling charges for cost model optimization
  • Drive for cost savings in both upstream and downstream value chain

You are responsible for

  • Optimize and establish strategic industries footprint
  • Drive for cost savings through Value Engineering projects initiation and implementation
  • Define, resource, execute, manage and track progress of projects related to implementation of all of the above esp. focusing on PDLM and reflect Supply Chain requirements
  • Influences new product development in order to optimize the design in view of DFM, DFA, costs and efficient and high quality manufacturing Ensures flawless industrialization of NPDL’s according agreed introduction plans
  • Manages sufficient NPI resources are allocated to projects within his/her scope Contribute to sourcing decisions, identifying required supplier capability and quality level Identifies cost saving opportunities with the supplier and drives implementation of these opportunities Creates, releases and continuously drives the improvement of tools, equipment and manufacturing processes and related quality systems to meet the product specifications
  • Translates product requirements into process requirements save-guarded by proper process monitoring Identifies gaps between required and current supplier capabilities, and drives quality improvement plan / risk mitigation accordingly Implements design and manufacturing process changes at supplier Supports SQE in negotiations of Quality Agreement and ensures that suppliers meet Quality Agreements
  • Monitors the  effectiveness of product quality control plans with suppliers throughout the product life cycle Supports SQE in ensuring compliance of supplier to Safety regulations, Quality and ROHS/REACH standards on quality management process and product level
  • Supports supplier audits, selection & qualification assessments Supports SQE in validating (Supplier ) Quality data and Quality system performance to warrant Quality data integrity Owns and approves the release of purchased parts and finished goods

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or  Master’s degree in business / industrial engineering focused on supply chain mgmt., inventory control, manufacturing or materials management.
  • Min 5 yrs of supply chain & operations experience  / experience with ERP application and data repositories
