This role will play a critical role in the production unit to deliver products against lowest cost, according to planning and quality requirements. Defines the manufacturing policy within the constraints of the business strategy.

You are responsible for

  • Leads a manufacturing engineering team that includes Engineers, production in activities that support the development, sustaining and continuous improvement of world-class manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production for engineering issues.
  • Conduct and coordinate in formal Process Validations including protocol development and execution.
  • Manage all technical aspects of the ECO process into production organization.
  • Ensure new processes have adequately demonstrated specified process and test control capabilities, through being the Champion for PFMEA, DFM, DFSS, CAPA.
  • The incumbent establishes and controls the budget for the sustaining and continuous improvement of existing
  • Manufacturing methods, processes and equipment.
  • Responsible for supporting the Corrective/Preventive Action process, and for product quality in the factory.
  • Drives activities related to sustain and improve process yield, throughput, cost and safety.
  • Manages the collection and analysis of factory data, and determines priorities and action plans for the team based on the results.
  • Provides significant influence on the funding of all manufacturing projects and investments.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • B.S. in Engineering or above
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience, working in medical device manufacturing industrial is preferred .
  • Experience working with FDA, CFDA, Quality Systems Regulations and ISO13485 Quality Systems.
  • Project management skills.
  • Experience with LCM software and SAP.
  • Process verification and validation knowledge.
  • Lean manufacturing concepts and understanding.
  • Effective communication skills with superiors, subordinates, and contractors.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving projects requirements.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility, adaptability and integrity when making decisions.
