Your challenge will be to drive the downstream marketing, in a challenging phase of aggressive growth. This role offers the unique opportunity to be an entrepreneur, under the umbrella of a large multinational.

You are responsible for

  • Driving downstream marketing activities for products of EPD solutions, with a shifting priority from Electrophysiology/Atrial Fibrillation towards Cardiac Rhythm Management
  • Promoting EPD products, systems and services in customer visits, product & workstation demonstrations, seminars and trade shows in countries outside of US
  • Supporting the New Product Introductions and determine local product portfolio and pricing in assigned geographic region
  • Co-developing local go-to-market strategies (Segmentation, Targeting, Positioning, Portfolio definition, pricing, and promotion) to drive profitable growth (within Quality & Regulatory requirements) for EP and CRM products of EPD Solutions
  • Driving customer satisfaction and dedication by aligning the necessary resources within the Market
  • Nurturing effective Key Opinion Leader engagement and build-up and maintain a relevant network
  • Generating locally relevant insights as input for proposition and roadmap development
  • Providing the EPD management with local insights about markets, competition, products and developments within the EP and CRM domain

You are a part of

Philips EPD Solutions, a recently acquired venture with ambitious plans for growth, developing a disruptive technology, which will improve the efficiency and efficacy of life-saving cardiac ablation procedures treating among others atrial fibrillation. Over 33 million people worldwide suffer from atrial fibrillation, its management costing $26 billion per year in the US alone. Currently, up to half of all cardiac ablation procedures need to be repeated due to incomplete ablation. EPD’s technology has the potential to address the key unmet need of real-time therapy assessment, which is one of the more significant limitations of the current standard of care. We aim to help to improve outcomes for millions of people and help maintain the rapidly rising cost of managing the disease. Having obtained CE mark in 2018, we are preparing for a commercial product launch in Europe, US and other territories and are seeking regulatory approvals around the world.

You will report into EPD Business Leader.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Biomedical engineering combined with a Master of Business Administration
  • 5+ years in clinical support and/or sales positions in medical devices related to Electrophysiology and/or cardiac rhythm management and 5+ years in downstream Marketing positions in the cardiovascular medical device industry at international level
  • Proven experience in New Product Introductions, price setting and product positioning
  • Deep understanding of the Cardiac Rhythm Management market and knowledge of cardiac electrophysiology are a must
  • Proven analytical and strategic skills and a self-starting, go-getting attitude
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive long term relationships with customers and KOLs
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in English
