We are looking for an Advanced Development Lead working within Innovation Team Homecare – Air in Shanghai to make category growth ambitions to happen.
As an Advanced Development Lead:
You will lead and further strengthen the Advanced Development team chartered to work on first-of-kind new concepts, new propositions and new technologies.
You will define and develop new product propositions together with your team and experts from cross-functions. You will translate consumer and business requirements into viable technology options providing differentiating product propositions.
You will need to use in-depth technical knowledge to work with your team while being able overview business and commercial aspects of your assignment.
You will need to best use talents of your team while taking strong ownership and responsibility for the proposed development directions leading to successful project completion.
You will apply best practices; focus on closing knowledge gaps as well as defining design rules and improvements.
You are going to work in a dynamic Air Innovation team consisting of functional departments responsible for marketing, design, product research, function development, architecture, mechanical and electronic development.
You will be the people manage of the advanced development team (pre-development team) consist of talent with profiles like scientist, specialist and function developer.
Your role further includes leading the AD activities and projects with a team of 4-8 cross-functional experts.
You will support the Innovation lead of Air to oversee the AD program of Air business and guide other AD members.
Your team will be mainly located in Shanghai but you will need to collaborate with Marketing Teams & your peers in Europe, external partners and industrialization teams located in Asia.

We are looking for a candidate with a mix of strong Technology (Mechanical Engineering / Product Development / Mechatronics / Electronics background), Project Management experience and with good Business Acumen, preferably in pre-development environment where we focus on defining requirements, verifying functions and validating propositions. Candidate with further people/competence management is a strong plus.
