Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Prepares and implements projects in multi-discipline areas in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing.
Projects have an innovative character.  Co-ordination between the sub-projects (or vendor managed projects for IT). Multi-site, complex project.
Manages project budget. Manages a project team of >15 team members.
Coaching of team members

You are responsible for

  • Lead cross–functional project core team. These team includes all functions delivering to project (e.g. engineering, marketing, Q&R, operations, customer support, Technical publications, Procurement etc as applicable).
  • Manage complete PDLM activities ensuring smooth transitions across the PDLM lifecycle.
  • Drive schedule compliance across all functions and ensure agreed project milestones are secured which includes planning, reporting and Monitoring of resources of the project.
  • Facilitate interaction, manage inter-dependencies & conflict resolution among all functional teams, regardless of geographic region.
  • Communicate project status to Programs Director DXR BU as required through periodic reports and formal program reviews.
  • Identify risks / issues / scope creeps impacting project schedule, quality or cost and mitigate / take corrective action. Highlight these transparently to the BU management team.
  • Responsible for vendor management & interfacing with other programs (delivering or client programs)
  • Encourages partnering: Develops cooperative relationships to achieve Project results through a win – win relationship. Have a mission of trending Improvements over time.
  • Facilitates / Implements/ Contributes Organization wide Project Management Improvement Initiatives
  • Supports team building: Builds mutual trust and encourages respect and cooperation among Cross Functional project Core teams.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Drive and execute the product realization program spanning across functions within Philips DXR business. This role will ensure we in DXR follow the PDLM process to deliver quality product / solution on time and meeting all Business KPIs.

  • Accountable for driving on time, on cost, and good quality and other project deliverables as per agreed plan.
  • Accountable for managing all PDLM activities and milestones (from Concept , Project Initiation to Project Closure)
  • Collaborate with teams on cross functional delivery plans and any changes within ,
  • Overall project execution and product delivery meeting Business KPIs. To build a successful, pro-active project team through effective people management and team coaching in order to create a motivated team, committed to the project assignment.
  •  To set up and maintain a strong relationships with internal and external suppliers and to manage timely delivery of products, services and required documentation.
  • To ensure and maintain the required quality through adequate configuration management for product, documentation and process changes.
  • To report project status to the cross-functional Project Core Team in order to identify conflicts and to enable effective decision-making.

  • Decision-making:

  • Finalize overall project planning, scope & execution strategy
  • Decide and implement change management (when required)
