You are responsible for

  • Analyzing and manage on diagnosis & treatment-focused clinical pathway
  • Developing standard procedure and pathway on clinical diagnosis & treatment
  • Portfolio optimization - consolidate diagnosis & treatment platform, guidelines and devices to realize precise diagnosis & treatment
  • Health economics analysis on the integrated system - the optimal health economics equilibrium to accommodate patient volume and efficiency requirements (e.g. tiered diagnosis & treatment, daytime surgery)
  • Business model based on diagnosis & treatment procedure management (e.g. patient education, first patient visit, surgical referral, surgical treatment)
  • Designing and organizing clinical study to promote Philips EPD advanced Tech and USP.
  • Collecting and help positive outcome from clinical trial to publish in important journals at home and abroad

You are a part of

Philips EPD Solutions, a recently acquired venture with ambitious plans for growth, developing a disruptive technology, which will improve the efficiency and efficacy of life-saving cardiac ablation procedures treating among others atrial fibrillation. Over 33 million people worldwide suffer from atrial fibrillation, its management costing $26 billion per year in the US alone. Currently, up to half of all cardiac ablation procedures need to be repeated due to incomplete ablation. EPD’s technology has the potential to address the key unmet need of real-time therapy assessment, which is one of the more significant limitations of the current standard of care. We aim to help to improve outcomes for millions of people and help maintain the rapidly rising cost of managing the disease. You will report to EPD Business Leader.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Medical University, Medical license is preferred
  • 5+ years clinical experience as a cardiologist related to Coronary, Electrophysiology and/or cardiac rhythm management
  • Deep understanding of the Procedure and pathway with common sense of Device and Equipment aligned development
  • Relevant knowledge required about how to operate scientific research project/ Relevant background in other companies is preferred
  • Proven analytical and strategic skills and a self-starting, go-getting attitude
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive long term relationships with customers and KOLs
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written) in English
