Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Build a high growth business that will help improve the lives of millions of People in China, while advancing Philips digital transformation journey as a global leader in Health Technology;

You are responsible for

  • Defines the IPL product roadmap with a time horizon of 1 year for a product range with known functionality and existing technologies
  • Defines proposals for the short term (1year) marketing strategy for Skincare, as well as consolidating for total Beauty
  • Translates the midterm product roadmap into concrete product specifications for IPL
  • Implements the short term business plans, goals and product roadmap for Skincare and monitors for total Beauty
  • Responsible for defining and implementing pricing strategies, policies and processes that maximize financial objectives as well as optimizing competitive position in the marketing place
  • Cooperates with L4L innovation lead who is responsible for short term and long term product portfolio and cross-functional team members for MarCom, MI, Sales, etc.
  • Drives strategic marketing projects & quality improvement on Beauty level with local market team; eg. category vision, problem solving, daily management
  • Leads the consolidation and preparation for Beauty category for local marketing & sales related meetings, such as ISF, M&S, pre-MPR
  • Supports Business Marketing  leader for overall Beauty for high quality input for annual and quarterly business planning, such as Rofo’s, AOP, BMC plans

You are a part of

The Beauty care marketing team and report to the Beauty Marketing Director . Skincare is seen as key unmet consumer need in China and where we experience tremendous pull and requests from retailers to deliver new news. In this position you will collaborate with many other teams including Digital marketing, Activation,  Sales, Finance etc.,.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Master degree with 8 years of professional experience, specialized in downstream marketing capabilities.
  • Able to understand how to translate consumer needs into marketing mix development and drives the go-to-market strategy setting.
  • Experience in projects ownership and driving the full product execution, co-working with cross-functional, multi-cultural teams (MI, Design, supply, marcom, etc.).
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in Performance measurement, Marketing Mix Optimization, Communication development, shopper and retailer actionable insights.
  • Seniority to drive projects independently.
  • Beauty domain knowledge and specialized in Skincare.
  • Fluent in both Chinese and English.
