Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

           The role of Supply Planning is to calculate an optimal production plan for inhouse/outsourced manufacturing, taking into account throughput times and logistic parameters, balancing supply and demand of the markets to ensure that finished products are available in DC/RDC w/h at the time of customer orders and that integral inventory levels are in line with business objectives.

  • Manage relationship with (Commercial) Organizations, Business groups, manufacturing teams and suppliers from an end-to-end supply chain perspective.
  • Maintain correct master data in SAP and JDA planning systems to enable a correct rule based planning
  • Manage phase in / phase out process execution from a planning perspective (PDLM)
  • lead monthly S&OP supply review, define & review the mid & long term supply plan
  • To plan, control and maintain the short term master production schedule (MPS), balancing the customer demands and inventory levels
  • Make an allocation proposal in case order book exceeds capacity/available production slots or material availability
  • Pro-actively manage a supply chain, Scenario Mapping /Root cause analysis/ Look and think ahead; build allocations in case of constraints

You are responsible for

  •  Manage the Supply Planning process for medium business scope & dynamics with average exposure
  • Maintain the Supply Plan for medium business scope & dynamics with average exposure, ensure timely updates for meetings and business planning snapshots
  • Collaborate with manufacturing site / OEMS suppliers to achieve the medium & long term planning inputs for S&OP review
  • Coach Supply Planner in Managing the supply planning process and stakeholders, and planning system knowledge
  • E2E Supply Chain Management basics
  • Understanding of Philips Demand and Supply Planning process
  • Understanding of the BG S&OP process
  • Own and manage the part of supply planning process from planning request to confirmation using inputs and insights from markets,
  • Ability to set constrained allocation plans across the supply chain
  • Knowledge on inventory management including safety stock management in relation to service levels
  • Financial knowledge to properly assess the impact

You are a part of

  • A professional master planning & development supply chain team with international exposure.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Strong knowledge on  planning management and Data Analysis
  • Strong knowledge of production & capacity planning techniques
  • Strong communication, persuasive  and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate benefits from working collaborative with supply chain partners (markets, business units, industry & suppliers)
  • Ability to identify issues and apply corrective actions
  • Analyze process inefficiencies and propose changes to improve ways of working
  • Education: Bachelor degree or above.
  • Good team work spirit and communication skills.
  • Very good English skill.
