The integration of Philips’ supply chain from end-to-end and all the way to the customer is critically dependent on our ability to establish and maintain a holistic ecosystem network that links suppliers, businesses, markets, and internal operations together. As a PMO, this position will set the directon for and execute on supply chain ecosystem programs within the broader ISC structure

You are responsible for

  • Lead the successful design, build and execution of an integrated supply chain ecosystem that harmonizes suppliers, logistics partners, and internal operations functions with the customer through digitization and process enablement.  Supporting activities such as:
    • NPI Site(s) Determination
    • Core vs. Non-Core Decisions
    • Make vs. Buy Decisions
    • Insource / Outsource Decisions
    • Long-term capacity planning
  • Coordinate these activities with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement and Businesses.
  • Specify budgetary requirements and adherence to budget allocations.
  • Build the strategy and prioritization of efforts to drive performance improvements that will have the biggest overall impact on the business results and towards customers.  
  • Success will be measured by improvements in operational metrics including but not limited to Quality (internal and external), Cost (Material and Logistics) and Delivery (OTTR). 
  • Drive engagement through the Integrated Supply Chain and business partners to ensure stakeholder buy-in.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders and senior executives in business, markets and functions to drive performance and impact.

You are a part of

Global ISC Strategy & Footprint core team member, and be responsible for ecosystem strategy for all business clusters across Asia region, and the global strategy head for Philips Personal Health.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline such as Supply Chain, Logistics, Management, Engineering or other related field; Masters Degree is preferred.
  • 10-15 years of meaningful working experience in manufacturing leadership in an internationally operating company, Operational transformation experience for a top-tier technology oriented, multinational corporate, integrated healthcare or IT Solutions Provider, preferred.
  • Leadership Experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain Organizations, is required.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare provider supply chain operations and challenges.
  • Knowledge of current supply chain practices to include high-level contract negotiations techniques, supply chain systems, purchasing, warehouse, inventory, transportation, freight, distribution techniques.
  • Strong financial acumen. Knowledge of P&L and financial modeling
  • Ability to liaise with the sales and operations teams and the supplier network to optimize our economics.
