In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Act as a user / product application research competence domain owner and enjoy the application exploration from front-end insight generation till product development and field validation
  • As a critical role to support PRC lead to define, coach and shape the application research for Air global business.
  • As the voice of user to ensure consumer understanding/insights are well captured and translated into superior product design
  • Work with a group of talented people and be supported by multi-decipline experts;
  • Contribute to a global business with is enjoying >20% growing in international market

    You are responsible for

  • Design and execute appropriate user/product application research to discover user insights, painpoints, benefit directions.
  • Translate insights into success innovation proposition with integrating data from multiple sources.
  • Act as voice of user, ensure the superior user experience & relevance of the product design.
  • As a senior staff in PRC team,   support PRC lead to define and shape the application research competence plan and coach the junior staff in team
  • Engage with cross function team to ensure consumer centricity throughout all aspects of proposition development and innovation execution. 
  • Delivers all necessary PRC deliverables for relevant projects on time and on quality.
  • Build and maintain close relationship with global stakeholders

You are a part of

The PRC (Product Research Center) team of Homecare Air Shanghai Innovation site, Philisp DA.  The Homecare Air Shanghai Innovation team is the center of gravity for R&D of Philisp Air business globally. The PRC team focus on and responsible for user /product application research and ensure a superior user experience/relevance of the innovation. The team located in Shanghai with global responsibility and in close collaboration with domain experts and industry partners in Europe and Asia.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachor degree or above, preferable major in psychology, statistics, user experience, marketing or related fields.
  • With > 5years relevant experience - Experience in product test/consumer research/marketing insight is required;
  • Experience in product innovation is required
  • Track records of good user understanding and trslation capability from user insight to innovation proposition
  • Conceptual skills, analytical & creative thinking and structural way of working, preferably being familiar with lean tools; mindset and ability to convert variety of scattered inputs into coherent and rationalized proposals
  • Excellent communication skills – both in spoken and written English. Good interpersonal and influential skills towards both technical and commercial people
  • Knowledge and experience in Air treatment is a big plus
