In this role, you have the opportunity to
Owns Supplier Relationship and delivers strategic impact through Supplier Strategy Development
You are responsible for
1. Owns Supplier Relationship and delivers strategic impact through Supplier Strategy Development.
-Understands the full business relationship of the Supplier, its position in the market relative to others, and its strategy, investment themes and capabilities.
-Manage Supplier performance score card using the Global Supplier Rating System (GSRS) and enrich it with cross-functional stakeholder feedback / calibration.
-Develops, based on CM, business and supplier strategy, an aligned account strategy for the supply relationship. Clearly defining areas of development such as performance, cost and feature competitiveness improvement, relevant future business opportunities and a contract that enables such execution.
-Apply oversight and monitoring of agreed projects being executed in the business by securing close alignment between supplier, PE and business -Orchestrates Supplier related activities and communication between internal and external stakeholders to ensure one consistent Supplier approach.
2. Relentlessly drives impact to the bottom and top line through Supplier Performance Development and innovative Negotiation approach.
-Utilizes Negotiation factory standards (e.g. Game Theory, Nego Booklets) and actively promotes Supplier Development program.
-Implements defined negotiation roadmap, target setting and business reviews.
-Encourages Suppliers to share innovative ideas and/or solutions (e.g. by using SPICE) and provide insights into future technology roadmaps.
-Encourages Suppliers to use LEAN approaches to co-create and deliver TCO savings opportunities (e.g. concept savings).
-Managing the competition in the supply base to secure a healthy tension between suppliers to foster cost and feature innovation.
3. Drive compliance, contract and risk management.
-Conducts assessments to identify and manage critical supplier parameters on a continuous basis covering risk, regulatory compliance, financial exposure and related liabilities (e and creating corresponding mitigation and contingency plans with business continuity in mind.
-Ensures full compliance regarding sustainability and regulatory Requirements.
-Ensures all contracts and RFX events are properly managed in contract and RFX management systems (e.g. source2contract), following defined processes, policies and guidelines.
-Manages and demands continuously improved quality from supplier and drives clear actions to achieve this.
You are a part of

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
-Strong Business result and strategic orientation.
-Expert in Source-2-Contract tools and processes incl. RfX.
-Expert in managing Supplier sustainability.
-Successful Project Management.
-Contract & Risk Management.
-Creating benchmarking, capability and performance analytics to prepare target setting & sourcing strategy.
-Effective in tail management and Supplier phase out.
Minimum:
- Bachelor degree in an engineering and technical discipline, Plastics, Resin, Packaging relevant.
- 2 year experience as Strategic Buyer and/or Site Project Procurement Management and/or Business Process Engineer, in charge of Plastics and Resin, Packaging is a plus.
Desired:
-Separate expert level certifications in Lean/Six Sigma, Design to Cost and Project Management methodologies.
-Procurement Governance experience.
-Cross-functional experience in related functions.
-Global Project Management experience.
-Experience in applying Lean methodologies.
