Commercial Policy and Pricing Manager

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

play an important part in the Philips’ Personal Health division commercial strategy following the Commercial Pricing Policy implementation in 2017. The role will work closely with the Commercial Policy Lead and the Pricing Officer to understand our customers, revenue and expected results and monitor our performance in terms of pricing realization.

You are responsible for

  • Business Management: Play the lead role in the development and execution of commercial & sales analytics to provide insights on key strategic accounts and commercial policy.
  • Business Information: Monitors and analyses the portfolio performance against targets and supports the BMCs in making corrective actions.
  • Business Growth: Interprets sales and marketing strategies to balance short term and long term initiatives, and ensures sufficient drivers and projects are identified to support future growth plans.
  • Relationship Management: Actively build relationships with Sales manager, marketing managers, third party suppliers and relevant BU’s to support sales strategies and collaboration initiatives.
  • Business Controls: Ensure adequate business controls are in place with regular reviews and corrective actions.

You are a part of

The team of Commercial Pricing Policy of Business Sector Personal Health.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • University Degree in marketing, business administration/finance or economics with minimum 5 years working experience (in commercial finance, accounting, sales support, pricing, or other related commercial function)
  • Strong knowledge of category management and business strategic planning
  • Proven partnership/relationship management skills.
  • Operating in a subsidiary of an overseas parent with responsibility for corresponding reporting requirements.
  • An ability to be self-sufficient and flexible in managing China and Global deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills capable to deal with all business partners.
  • Strategic thinker with business analytical skills
  • Advance Excel skills with knowledge of SAP & EDWH
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize facts and insights in concrete, actionable recommendations
  • Confident to both work with and influence senior management and other stakeholders
