Training & Education Manager, Image Guided Therapy-Devices

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop and deliver internal product training through a clear and concise curriculum that encompasses the necessary clinical and sales requirements for incoming sales employees, distributors and existing sales force.

You are responsible for

  • Organizing and coordinate training programs at various sites.  Manage logistics, program agenda and content development.  Act as instructor during clinical training courses.
  • Coordinating New Hire field training activities in conjunction with the Country Managers and Regional Director.  Develop training plans and content for new field-based personnel and customers
  • Developing sales/product training for internal employee and distributors.
  • Writing, reviewing and editing key training presentations, materials and course content that may be developed by other members of the Education department. All content must be approved through the internal review process. 
  • Working with the field sales force as central editing coordination for all technical training materials.  Assist with industry literature searches and reviews.
  • Developing training resource center for internal/external use.  Develop and manage center of excellence and transmissions from center of excellence via OneView.
  • Assisting field-based sales personnel to drive disposable utilization as requested through training programs or hands-on training sessions in the cathlab.

Image Guided Therapy–Devices marketing team, which lies in the Diagnosis and Therapy segments of the Philips Healthcare Continuum.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Medical background.
  • Minimum four three experience in a clinical role required, with preferred IV Cardiology, IV Radiology or Cardio Vascular and interventional applications.
  • Clinical training and/or clinical education experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced level usage in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  Proficiency of the iPad and iPad applications.
  • Strong presentation building skills, including the use of various media elements such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.  Be familiar with the use of the iPad and iPad applications and web ex based communications. 
  • Must be able to build strong internal and external educational/clinical relationships with a focus on the sales teams, clinical teams, marketing personnel and customers.
  • Travel up to 70% travel may be required
