In this role, you have the opportunity to
Develop and coordinate the key sub-categories strategies within the Bill Of Material and the markets Globally. Accountable for Total Cost of Ownership including material costs, long term assurance of supply and overall supplier performance.
You are responsible for
The Global Category Manager Displays and User Interfaces will be responsible for 130M€ Global spend, through 3 sub-categories (Panel and touch, Display integrators, User interfaces). It includes Cost, Quality/Regulatory and deliveries. These components are dedicated to the factories, the service organization as well as the Philips sales in the different markets. The GCM will manage directly a team of 4 Global Supplier Account Managers. In addition, the GSM will work through the local procurement teams in the markets. Part of the procurement transformation, the GCM will act as a real Leader and strategist, ensuring :
1. An End to End strategy definition and execution considering, the Business Units, the Service organization and the sales/commercial operations in the markets.
2. The GCM will also challenge and optimize the distribution models in order to secure the best TCO.
3. The GCM will position, through the local teams in Market, Procurement as a Function, sharing a value proposal toward the Solution journey.
In this aim, the GCM will develop and guide their team and will work hand in hand with the Procurement Business Partners, the Procurement Sourcing Engineers as well as the Markets. Inclusive, he/she will drive continuous improvement challenging status quo and proposing creative options to the internal stakeholders.
