Component Test Engineer

Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Develop Verification Plan for medical product Perform verification testing & track product problem Develop Verification Report for medical product Develop/Perform automation test script

You are responsible for

Develop Verification and reliability Plan (include but not limited to: )

  • Review product requirement specification and clearly understand each requirement in requirement specification documentation
  • Estimate resource (manpower and capital) requirement for certain amount of verification work
  • Understand the analysis of hazardous impact of medical product to different personnel (patient, operator, etc...)
  • Develop test case per each requirement in requirement specification documentation
  • Schedule test case review meeting with relevant parties


Perform verification testing & track product problem (include but not limited to: )

  • Setup test environment per Verification Plan
  • Execute each test case on test bays
  • Log defect to defect management tool
  • Update test cases’ execution result to test case management tool
  • Attend defect review meeting and join team to analyze defect impacts to test deliverables

Develop Verification/reliability Report (include but not limited to: )

  • Draft verification/reliability report in the end of each cycle
  • Schedule verification report review meeting with relevant parties
  • Get verification report approved in system

Develop/Perform automation test script (include but not limited to: )

  • Understand automation script which are developed by global team
  • Maintain test script which are required for verification/reliability test
  • Present above knowledge to other engineers

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering At least 2 years’ experience in product’s verification position Medical products’ experience is much preferred Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with different functions, e.g. System, Physics, SW, etc... Knowledge of the V-model development cycle ISTQB certified tester is a plus Six sigma GB/BB certified is a plus Good knowledge of the English language (both written and verbal)
