Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Own the requirements, design, implementation and maintenance of DXR software.

You are responsible for

  • The interface between global software team and Suzhou team for software roadmap, architecture, design planning and effort estimation.
  • Working closely with system engineers, IC/IQ engineers, service Engineers in design, architecture and implementation of software.
  • Own development, build and releases of software to system, including software integration and configuration.
  • Own software delivery, including software build, documentation (software integration report, release note, cyber security documents and software defect summary), DVD release and BOM.
  • Supporting compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before completing Design Outputs/Program Deliverables.
  • Working closely with manufacture in design transfer, manufacture software issue investigation and manufacture test tools development.
  • Maintaining DXR published software; site issue investigation and resolution, software related FCO.

A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Manager of DXR system engineering with Cross-functional team as your key stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

All applicants are required to have the following:

  • Familiar with DXR theory.
  • Experience in object oriented design methodology and various programming languages, including C/C#/C++ and Java.
  • Familiar with Medical Device software development international standard. (i.e. IEC62304).
  • Must have excellent both Mandarin and English communication & negotiation skills (spoken, written, and presentation).

Although not essential, it would be desirable if applicants have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in software or related field required. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in medical device system.
  • Software development cycle and automated testing experience
  • Working knowledge in configuration management tools such as ClearCase.
