Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Work professionally and effectively to deliver healthcare IT integration support and service.
  • Communicate and work with solution architecture to fulfill the requirement of system interoperability.
  • Communicate and design the interface or method for 3rd party application data access.

You are responsible for

  • Work with project manager and solution architecture for development and system integration tasks.
  • Design and lead the development part of solution project.
  • Design or modify software object or module to fulfill the data exchange requirement or issue of Philips product and foreign system.
  • Implementation and testing of complex IT integration solutions following industry and proprietary real-time patient data exchange requirements.
  • Design customized report/form for project requirements.
  • Design and develop the related plug-in based on the current product.
  • Communicate and design the interface or method for 3rd party application data access.
  • Provide consultation to healthcare institutions on healthcare IT integration strategies and system integrations.
  • Troubleshoot the issue of complex system integration to insure acceptable Quality of Service.

You are a part of

Professional Services Delivery team, which is playing a very important role in the growth and transformation of Philips solution business. You will directly report to District Team Leader of Professional Services Delivery and cooperate with Project Manager, Technical Consultant, Application Consultant and sales team.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology, biological medical technology or computer science or automation or related field preferred; or two years formal education combined with appropriate high tech-related experience.
  • 3+ years IT development experience using Java/C#/ C++ mainstream languages and VS.NET/Eclipse dev tools. Experienced with Tomcat/IIS based WEB application using JSP/ASP and HIS/EMR development is desirable.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or advanced certifications in specific areas of expertise such as Integration for HL7, DICOM, API, device data transfer, data exchange between different systems.
  • Familiar with DML/DLL of SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, MySQL and application of store procedure, trigger and user functions.
  • Previous experience working in a hospital IT department or IT software R&D environment.
  • Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine certified and/or JavaScript certified. HL7 certification is desirable.
  • Familiar with various design patterns like Factory, Proxy etc. and mainstream framework as MVC, SSH etc. Can design customized report/form for solution requirements.
  • Deliver required results with high levels of quality.
  • Strong organizational, time management and planning skills in order to be successful in a   role performing a wide variety of tasks associated with varying customer needs, and an  ability to change focus quickly as demands change
  • Deliver required results with high levels of customer satisfaction, both internal external.
  • Demonstrates punctuality and efficient work habits. Able to self-direct and effectively manage priorities.
  • Strong organizational, time management and planning skills in order to be successful in a  role performing a wide variety of tasks associated with varying customer needs, and an  ability to change focus quickly as demands change.
  • Experience in algorithm programming is preferred
