Job Description

Job Title: Senior Software Quality Engineer

In this role, you have opportunities to

Enter the exciting Healthcare IT field to work closely with experienced staffs from Hospitals or Radiology Departments. The outcome of your work will be directly used by our customers, and will be reflected in the knowledge sharing system that we are building and propagandizing.

You are responsible for:

  • Performs software testing (automated or manual) within the systems/agile/scrum team throughout the whole development cycle ensuring built-in quality
  • Professional providing advanced expertise in software test strategies and initiatives at feature and system level. Might mentor junior staff. Typically, focuses on testing the integration of several parts of a system.
  • Reviews (functional and non-functional) requirements / stories / features for accuracy and testability
  • Conducts functional and performance, load and reliability testing
  • Automates tests and tests own code. Selects and applies test management tools / simulation models / test frameworks / scripting languages
  • Documents test plans, protocols, and reports
  • Supports design changes for quality impact
  • Support Service Engineering customer escalation investigation, implementation and closure.

You are a part of

Develop Team, Profession Service Deployment. You will report to the Quality Engineering Manager, and work closely with the Development Team, Deployment Team and Profession Service Team to provide professional product / solution / service documents.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor Degree or above (preferably in computer science, technical fields)
  • Good team work and 4+ years of Software Testing
  • SQL Server Skill, including Query, Debug, Management is required
  • Healthcare IT Products Knowledge, including RIS/HIS/EMR/PACS, HL7/DICOM Standard, IHE Profile is required
  • Web testing experience is required
  • Good Trouble shooting for Site Issues
  • Be familiar with test skills in Automation Testing & Tools, QTP, Selenium for example
  • Have basic networking knowledge is plus
  • Be skilled in Performance testing, stress test are plus
