This position works in Philips Healthcare, Ultrasound Division, and Product Industrialization department.
The PI TPM manages the PI Engineering Team through the delivery of new or existing projects. Plans and directs schedules and deliverables for engineering, monitors budget/spending, and leads technical investigations. Works cross functionally with R&D, Service, and other business groups ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within project constraints, while being the voice of PI Engineering to the project teams.
You are responsible for
Leading the PI Project Team through all phases of a project.
Represent PI on the Cross Functional Core Team
Manage the Projects: Scope, Cost, Schedule, Risk plans, and associated process documentation deliverables.
Investigate and determine root cause of product issues for production products and determine appropriate resolution.
Provide support to Production during prototype build activities
Assisting and leading continuous improvement through Lean methodologies
Creating new, and update existing engineering/business process documentation
Engage in product development and introduction efforts as a technical contributor on the PI Engineering team. This includes providing DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Testability, Reliability, and Serviceability) input into product requirements, PCa design, Product test planning, producing technical solutions to meet the requirements, and performing liaison engineering activities as required to introduce products into a factory: in-house or at a partner.
Support partner relationships for externally designed hardware

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Computer Engineering, or closely related field and PMP preferred.
5+ years on the job (full time) in an Engineering role a must.
Strong understanding of R&D development processes and global Supply Chain operations processes
Thorough knowledge of manufacturing production processes. Understanding of how new products and changes to existing products impact the product in the areas of cost, performance, quality and throughput.
Demonstrated leadership skills in areas of coaching, communication, facilitation, team leadership and business management.
Demonstrated success in working complex issues with cross-function team members to effective resolution.
Demonstrated excellent communication (verbal/written), interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills with others above and below in the organization.
Experience with FDA-regulated medical device manufacturing in a Lean production environment preferred
Experience working with suppliers to resolve technical issues preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office tools required
Methodical, effective troubleshooting/problem solving skills
Self-motivated and able to learn quickly from others, recognize problems and take corrective action when appropriate
A team player who proactively seeks out expertise and advice from others
