In this role, you have the opportunity to

Responsible to lead the development team for L4L Programs in PH Greater China. Jointly with our other Innovation sites, delivering local4Local innovation that matters to our consumer, thereby enabling strong business performance (topline growth, and bottomline performance). Your legacy will be further building a strong sustainable performing I&D team with strong cross functional connections.

You are responsible for

•    Ensure that business proposition development roadmaps are created and that resources are planned to deliver in full and in time.
•    Ensure effective Post Market Surveillance and Life Cycle Management.
•    Ensure that competences, processes and tools of the Development Teams are in line with business needs.
•    Cross functional Team building and employee engagement.
•    Ensure quality and timeliness of the projects.
•    Build Strong supplier partners to enhance the development capability and speed.
•    Manage the development budget with agreed programs.

You are a part of

The Personal Health China Local for Local Innovation Business Group, report to the Business Leader of the PH China LFL innovation.

You lead the development team in Shenzhen CIC, which consists of different functional engineers. And various enabling functions will support your direct team. Your role is to lead X-functional team. This involves guiding and directing the I2M team to come to agreed strong and solid roadmap, meeting consumer needs and business ambition. This role requires to know when to take a hands-on approach and personally get into technical challenges coaching the team towards a solution, as well as the ability to know when to step above the team and take clear decisions.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

•    Strong technical know-how: electronics, materials, mechanical engineering, mass production, Q&R, etc. 
•    Proven leadership, ability to lead a multilayer, X-functional team
•    Ability to connect to the team, and lead by working “shoulder to shoulder” with all I2M team members. And ability to step above the team and take clear decisions when needed.
•    Proven ability to lead a diverse product portfolio, setting priorities, identifying challenges and opportunities, enabling the team to move forward with speed
•    Proven skills in Daily Management and leading change 
•    Affinity with the products, the domain, and passion for the category purpose improving health 
•    Ability to know when to take hands-on approach; able to deep dive personally into technical challenges and guide the team to solutions in the Socratic way.
•    Affinity with Digital Technology
•    Knowledge of Development Processes around product development
•    Master in Technical Studies
•    10+ years’ experience
