Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Be an integral part of the monitoring solutions development team and have the opportunity to work with the group of world-class, System Engineers who develop products that help save lives all over the world.

You are responsible for

  • Product design and development transition on systems engineering, no limit to:
    • Product technical regulation/standard requirements
    • Product safety risk management
    • Product reliability engineering
    • Product verification/test planning and reporting
    • Product 3rd part test and certification
  • Design historical files and technical files documentation
  • Assurance compliance with China and international regulations like NMPA, CE and FDA etc. and standards like IEC, ISO and GB, through introduction, decomposition and demonstration accordingly.
  • Engagement in China localization project and provide technical supports to registration like NMPA etc.
  • Identify and report risk, deviation, abnormity and inconformity, and push product design and process improvement accordingly.

You are a part of

A global, cross-functional technical team responsible for the design, development, and implementation of monitoring product solutions, a key player in Philips global R&D organization.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor or master degree in engineering, e.g. electronic and industry automation etc.
  • More than 5 years’ experience on testing engineering of active medical device or other comparative electronic industry.
  • Be familiar with quality management system and design and development process for medical device.
  • Be familiar with general safety and performance requirement, e.g. GB9706.1, IEC 60601-1 series standard requirements
  • Experience with system engineering related applications in design and development activities like requirement management, risk management, product test, reliability, quality and compliance.
  • Experience with system engineering methodology or tools applications, e.g. MBSE, is better
  • Experience in 3rd part certificated laboratory is better
  • With competencies of product and design quality and compliance, conflict managements and communication effectiveness
  • Good English writing and speaking
  • Strong sense of responsibility, team works, good communication skills, self-learning ability
  • Continual improvement focused, self-directed and creative
