You are responsible for

  • To strengthen our global design consulting team, we are looking for a versatile interior architect with a holistic vision on healthcare environment design mindset. Your design expertise and design thinking skills will translate Philips vision into reality with highest quality standards. Specifically, you will:
  • Participate in end to end design process including needs analysis, interpretation of research insights, project planning and design delivery
  • Design healthcare interior environments based on agreed brief and on your professional orientation
  • Coordinate between clients, designers, collaborators and business partners
  • Make direct communications with leaders and stakeholders regarding the project vision, design solution, planning, tendering, handover and quality monitoring
  • Visit regional and worldwide clients to keep projects running with speed and quality

You are a part of

  • You will actively work with Creative Lead/ lead architect, who is responsible for the design delivery program
  • You will report to the Team Lead in your location who is your direct line manager
  • Your main work contacts include Creative Lead, Business Partners, Consultants, Client’s representatives and external specialists

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

Education and Experience:

•Master’s / bachelor’s degree in interior architecture/ architecture/ industrial design with specialization in spatial design

•3-8 years of professional working experience in related field.

•Working proficiency in English and Chinese language is required

•Experience working for healthcare sector will be preferred

Professional Skills:

•Strong environment design skills (conceptual hand sketching, graphic presentations, 3D modeling, making design specifications and thematic material boards.)

•Excellent communication skills with understanding of technical, creative and commercial side of design

•Proficient in Design Thinking: Ability to interpret and visualize research based end-user insights into design principles and solution themes.

•Creative affinity for product, furniture, lighting, retail and exterior architecture in addition to core interior architecture

•Self-motivated, flexible and able to work independently and within teams

•Proactive thinker and problem solver

•Ability to thrive in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary corporate environment
