In this role, you have the opportunity to develop various electrical engineering solutions encompassing design, implementation and testing to meet sub-system requirements for CT and PET/CT system.

You are responsible for

  • Electrical component and motion control system development of CT couch subsystem including cable design, components selection, motion control system design, PCBA design.
  • Communication and technical feasibility discussion with team members in concept stage; and provide technical design solutions.
  • Work with technical leadership to ensure that the technical deliverables are consistent with the goals of programs, projects, or initiatives.
  • Perform trouble shooting and root cause analysis on issues from customer or production line, as well as design verification and product validation, ensure deliverables have no risk in quality, safety and reliability.
  • Ensure design for reliability, performance, and high-quality product delivery

You are a part of

A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Couch Leader Suzhou, with Cross-Functional Managers as your key stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field equivalent.
  • Above 5 years design & develop experience in electrical design.
  • Demonstrated experience in analogue, digital, EMC/EMI centered electrical design.
  • Solid skills of operating test instruments, e.g. function wave generator, oscilloscope. Familiar with network analyzer preferred
  • Good knowledge and experience development with common HW peripheral (CAN Bus, CANOpen Bus, Ethernet, RS-232, RS 485, general serial/parallel bus knowledge…)
  • Experience with servo motion control design and application is a strong plus.
  • Experience with PCBA design. Familiar with PCB, PCBA manufacturing process.
  • Knowledge in design for reliability, manufacturing, testing, assembly, and cost.
  • Good problem solving capability, efficient communication with local and international colleagues with good oral and written English.
