Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

Responsible for Supplier Performance for Operational Material Management(OMM) throughout entire lifecycle of procured materials. Manages KPIs as well as well as PIs within OMM domain. Manages alignment with Procurement, continuous improvement and escalations on global level.

You are responsible for:

  • Responsible for structurally improving delivery performance at the supplier throughout the lifecycle of BoM materials.
  • Ensure Supplier Has a Clear-to-Build plan for Hero Products. ("Never Stock Out Plan" for T2 Materials)
  • Implement early warning systems in the supply base, including focusing on n-tier risks.
  • Align with supplier on Flexibility, Capacity, People, Material to ensure mid and long-term OMM forecast requirements can be met.
  • Enable supply base using digital ISC tools. Lead improvement projects and tool deployment (e.g. SNC/ASN).
  • Ensure to embed SCM requirements in LPA – define replenishment models, MOQs, lead time improvements.
  • Ensure “Delivery” content and presence in Business Review Meeting and SQOPE500 reviews. 
  • Operational ownership of SCM KPIs - drive accountability with suppliers for CLIP, SMI, SMOI, LPA Content, LT Reduction, inventory - ensure continuous improvement
  • Support Risk Assessment and Mitigation on mid and long-term OMM issues with suppliers e.g. potential supply risks.
  • Support Category Management and supplier account managers on escalations on material supply issues which cannot be mitigated by OMM Team.
  • Responsible on monitoring supplier delivery performance trends using digital analytical tools to identify potential risks and propose corrective or preventive action based on the findings. 
  • Maintain OMM projects and saving results.
  • Define replenishment model, MoQ, and lead-time improvements
  • Ensuring effectiveness of material inbound flow to meet the long-term capacity forecast.
  • Consolidate and analyze supplier delivery performance data to ensure "Delivery" content is addressed in the Business Review Meeting with the supplier.
  • Participate and provide input from material management views when it comes to multiple sourcing decision making. 
  • Collaborate with Business process experts on developing new processes, bringing improvements and tools standardization across Philips's sites 
  • Increase the adoption of standardized tools by providing training to local operational buyers. 
  • Responsible for key/high complexity supplier delivery performance management and monitoring (suppliers A/Z or with lowest KPI results)
  • Coordinate OMM input across multiple sites to drive harmonization in supplier delivery performance management across sites.

You are part of:

Global commodity team, Work hand on hand with Procurement Engineering Team in the different Businesses and under the lead of the Global Commodity Manager.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

  • Master degree or equivalent experience
  • More than 7 years’ related experience
  • Proven track record in tactical / strategic material management and/or commodity management
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese required.
