Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to

  • Focus on sales & operations planning, builds the business forecast for the BMC within the Market which is under transformation and identifies any gaps in achieving the targets.

  • Balance to sales to customers with production capacities of the involved factories to maximize sales recognition with lowest possible inventory level.

  • Perform and transform own solid experiences in formulating SOP, work instruction & transformative plan and executing transformative/continuous improvement projects.

You are responsible for

Prepare, host and coordinate with cross-functional teams on S&OP excellence execution, including DSO, BMF and Executive S&OP meetings, etc.

Create Sales, Marketing, customer forecast for the assigned planning horizon, BU or modalities by creating the statistical baseline forecast and enriching it with all relevant input form Sales, COP, Customer Project Manager, Marketing, Finance and related functions.

Collect input for phase-in/out & promotions and manage the underlying process for the market and/or customers; review and analyze historical sales trends, sell out, stock-in-trade, research demand drivers, prepare forecast analytics and evaluate forecast results

Lead conversation with relevant counterparts, propose forecast adjustments and challenge assumptions underpinning input; support all relevant functions in preparing, planning, communicating, and revising forecast for review meetings and/or Market Leadership meeting; adjust forecasts based on meeting outputs

Manage the medium/long term planning process and the supply-demand planning process to prepare in-time for capacity creation/reduction and the procurement for long-lead-time components

Manage the integral inventory levels of the BU with objective to realize the available target Conduct scenario planning and risk analysis; maintain close contact with global supply chain and BUs on supply & shipment communications; effectively escalate for support for priority cases jointly with GBS team Design and generate regular operational reports to management team, including forecast variance analysis, operational KPIs deep dive, sales visibility data and scenario analytics Formulate plan and execute transformative projects relevant to supply chain/S&OP Support special projects and act as ISC representative in cross-team task force as assigned by team & company

You are a part of

Philips ISC/CFCteam. You will report to S&OP Leader, CC&U/S, HS GC CFC who base in Shanghai.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Bachelor degree or higher, University degree education background major in commercial business, Economic, Engineering or Supply Chain Management.

  • 6 years of supply chain experience preferably in medical device/FMCG area

  • Experience with ERP and planning systems.

  • Solid experience in formulating planning & executing transformative/continuous improvement projects.

  • Be able to master excel and other statistical analytics tools (e.g. PowerBI, Qlik sense)

  • Collaborative planning, data analytics

  • Strong functional knowledge of the Forecast2Plan process, best-in-class Demand Planning techniques and relevant planning tools; statistical forecasting skills

  • Good command of spoken & written English

  • Broad knowledge of End-to-End Supply Chain Management

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, supported by expertise in synthesizing and analyzing demand-relevant information

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence, engage and coach colleagues

  • Business Acumen & result-driven
