Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity to         

Provide strategic leadership and direction for the delivery of finance and accounting for Philips China.

You are responsible for

  • Directs all activities of GBS Accounting Services operations related to RTR, C&C, S&F and related activities 
  • Works with Global GBS leadership and workstream owners to develop and deploy GBS Accounting Services strategies, initiatives, and operating practices for Greater China. Provides thought leadership on and assessments of key opportunities and determination of strategy approach; identification of current process and value gaps (for example, systems limitations, resource needs); development of cross functional assessments; and implementation of changes as sustainable best practices for initiatives. 
  • Leads major change initiatives and strategies within business case framework for multiple Accounting Services business areas by setting short- and long-term direction for change implementation; partnering with internal customers and stakeholders; eliminating barriers to implementation success; driving strategy milestones for business process changes and systems development; and obtaining buy-in from internal customer leaders 
  • Accountable for the integrity of the financial statements of the ORUs and ensure the related internal control framework within the region
  • Is the senior operational Infosys relationship manager within the region for all AccOps activities 
  • Accountable to drive and deliver on the global transformational initiatives (including global hub, PIL) within the scope of the region. 
  • Accountable to drive and deliver on performance targets (cost and quality) within the scope of the region.  
  • Ensuring performance improvement on our operational commitments including efficiency, through continuous improvement and close Infosys cooperation 
  • Accountable for the adherence to Group policy, standards and procedures. 
  • Accountable for managing the effective integration and collaboration (process and content) between the Hub/ spoke teams, the remote teams (sites) and Infosys 
  • Responsible for all hub resourcing processes, including staffing, effective succession planning, performance management, people development etc.
  • Responsible for the execution of the regional Lean deployment plan
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to achieve end-to-end process standardization, simplification & optimization  
  • Build and foster a strong relationship between AccOps and Infosys
  • As a people manager is responsible to attract, develop, engage and retain your team members.   
  • Manage the team KPI's, hold the team accountable for targets and support development of individuals in the team. 
  • Drives ambition towards our vision, act as a coach and co-own the career development plans of your team members. 

You are a part of

Professional Accounting team of Philips China, based in Suzhou, report to GBS Hub leader

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • 15+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience, proven working experience as a Financial Controller is preferable
  • Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent commend of English, communication and presentation skills
  • Hands-on and all-round finance and management accounting, consolidation for regional accounts experience
  • Ability to achieve tight deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Results driven and highly motivated
  • Solution-oriented mind-set
  • Team player
  • Reliable and flexible
  • Passion to drive
