In this role, you have the opportunity to

Contribute to the creation of value by providing re-assurance that all major risks possibly impacting the achievement of Philips Strategic and Operational objectives are well understood and managed.

You are responsible for

  • Perform desktop searches in various sources and languages and report back in line with Philips’s procedures. 
  • Analyze and determine compliance, legal, strategic, operational risks associated with third parties
  • Interact and engage with different stakeholders during the Due Diligence Process
  • Document findings and conclusions in line with the prescribed tools and methods
  • Report the findings of the searches in line with Philips’ procedures and systems. 
  • Write clear and concise Customer Screening reports and report outcome to senior management
  • Organizing of the activities that facilitate the smooth and efficient running of the Customer Screenings team
  • Discuss findings, conclusions and recommendations with senior management
  • Participating in continuous improvement of the customer screenings processes
  • Assist in fraud investigations

You are a part of

Philips Internal Audit Team. We operate as a global team with over 15 different nationalities in six locations around the globe: Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Andover, Panama, Shanghai, and Delhi.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You display a high level of integrity, stress resistance, flexibility and creativity.

Furthermore, you have: 

  • Graduated (university degree) in a relevant area (e.g. Law, International Relations, Criminology, Enterprise Risk Management, etc.).
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills; 
  • Strong Legal background and good understanding of Compliance/Criminal Law principles
  • Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal (mandatory)
  • Fluency in the Mandarin/Chinese language (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of LEAN/continuous improvement is a strong asset
  • Experience Level: 1-2 years
  • International business experience and compliance/legal experience is a plus
