In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better
Represents Philips Oral Healthcare in the industrialization and launch of new high-volume products and components. As the NPI Project Leader, take a leadership role inside Philips and manage new product launches within global manufacturing supply chain. This role is responsible for and empowered to lead the industrialization team on behalf of Philips Oral Healthcare. As the design transfer owner, this influential role is critical to the production realization of leading edge oral healthcare devices. During the post-launch Lifecycle or Maintenance Management phase, you also manage technical changes by leading cross-functional project teams.
You are responsible for
Initiates and leads process development activities
Initiates Capex optimization for initial investments
Ensures adherence to the applicable process for product introductions, qualifications, and release
Initiates Design for Lean Manufacturing in PDLM processes
Accountable for Process Requirements based on Product Specifications from I&D and Manufacturing Requirements
Applies lean manufacturing principles
Accountable for design changes in Philips factories and at suppliers driven by PDLM governed projects
Responsible for resources, planning, quality, and cost (including Capex) for industrialization projects
You are a part of
industrialization team on behalf of Philips Oral Healthcare.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
BS/MS degree in Engineering field with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of R&D development processes and global Supply Chain operations processes
Strong understanding of plastics and injection molding
Demonstrated success in working complex issues with cross-functional team members to effective resolution
Design for manufacturing, assembly, and testability
Excellent understanding of manufacturing process, equipment, and production lines
Operational Excellence including Lean Manufacturing and problem solving
Project Management skills, PMP preferred
