Your challenge

This role is responsible to support the continuity of production in the Suzhou factory by being a bridge towards R&D knowledge of IGT Systems. You will be the liaison between IGT Systems production in Suzhou and the R&D team in Best, the Netherlands. You will be based in Suzhou.

Your responsibilities

• Represent R&D towards the Suzhou factory operations
• Attend tier-3 meetings, material review boards
• Cross-functional support (Supplier Quality, Operations) in R&D related investigations
• Prevent factory stops and support in escalations
• Troubleshoot on site in case of R&D related problems
• Contribute to risk assessments when needed
• Write concessions if applicable
• Interface to the Operations Change Control Board in Suzhou
• Virtually join rituals of the PQ&M team in Best

Your team

Organizationally you are part of the newly formed IGT Cluster R&D organization in Philips China and located in Suzhou.

Functionally you are part of the PQ&M team of IGT Systems in Best, the Netherlands.

To succeed in this role you need:

• Minimal 5 years of experience in a development and engineering environment
• Master’s degree in either mechanical, bio-mechanical, or equivalent
• Knowledge of operations, procedures, and DMR
• Experience in development according a defined quality management system
• Experience working in a global team
• Strong leadership drive for operations and quality mindset
• Dynamic team player who can drive actions, eager, ambitious and self-propelling
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Affinity with healthcare domain
