You are responsible for

  • Perform a role of account manager/business analyst during Business Engagements in onboarding, updating, and managing of DLP policies; risk assessments; and other services within Data Protection Domain
  • Lead overall management of business engagements within Domain and provide necessary improvements to processes, tooling as required
  • Gather business and technical requirements, guide business contacts with respect to required controls and technical design related to Data Protection services, discuss Security and Privacy issues with business, e.g. as a part of incident debriefing, data exposure analysis or when sensitive data is being identified for policy onboarding
  • Be accountable for development of Data Loss Prevention Policies and other Data Protection services-related technical implementations that follow Domain processes and necessary compliance requirements
  • Act as an ambassador for Data Protection towards business: ensure improvement in security culture via knowledge articles, awareness and training within Philips
  • Provide reporting on the business engagements and related services implementation to Data Protection Domain Lead and on the data risk metrics to Business Leadership
  • Tracking new developments in technology and legislation that might affect Data Loss Prevention Services

Philips Group Security team ensures the safety and security of our customers, employees, and partners across the globe. Within Group Security – Information Security (GS-IS), the SAE team (Strategy, Architecture & Execution) is responsible for defining, designing, and implementing enterprise-wide information security solutions.

As our Information Protection Business Engagement Manager you will report directly to the Data Protection Domain Lead.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

·      Master degree in Computer Science or an otherwise relevant Master’s degree such as Information Science, or MBA with IT specialization

·      Between 5 and 10 years of experience in relevant Information Security function, such as working as an IT account manager, in CISO office, or consulting

·      Knowledge of relevant standards regulations, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and local cybersecurity and privacy regulations

·      Cybersecurity certification (e.g. CISM, CISSP) or willingness to pursue a certification within Philips. The CIPP/E or CIPT certification is an advantage

·      Relevant knowledge of Data Protection technologies such as Data Leakage Prevention, Encryption, Tokenization, Classification, Digital Rights Management

·      Excellent communication skills. You know how to explain complex issues in a simple way to non-technical stakeholders, and keep relevant stakeholders well-informed

·      Ownership and initiative. You can take accountability of issues that occur and be proactive in searching for potential problems and solutions. You know how to achieve excellent user outcomes

·      Learning and self-starter. You are able to quickly grasp new concepts, understand complex issues and navigate in uncharted territory. above all you like to develop yourself and bring protection of data within Philips to the next level!

·      You can express yourself exceptionally well in spoken and written English
