As Regulatory Security Compliance Lead, you are driving the Market Greater China businesses in their journey towards adhering to China local government regulations in terms of Cyber Security and Data Security areas, such as MLPS management (Multi-Level Protection Scheme), Data Storage and Cross-Border Data Transfer (CBDT), as well as other relevant regulatory and Philips’ internal Security Policies. You will be responsible for identifying and validating compliance scopes, design the overall compliance structure and setting up annual compliance schedules and driving and assisting businesses to ensure execution excellence thereof. You will be working with relevant government agencies and external parties in filing and verifying compliance adherence. Apart from closely working with business, you will be closely aligning and working with other corporate functions such as IT, Legal, Quality and HR to ensure all aspects of compliance requirements are being met.

You are responsible for

• Develop, implement and manage Market Greater China’s Security-related regulatory compliance program to ensure the compliance with Cyber Security and Data Security areas.
• Drive compliance and assist businesses in responding to compliance requirements and control sets, to ensure the execution excellence.
• Advise business and IT on the interpretation and available technical solutions to meet compliance requirements, finding out practical solution with business balancing regulatory requirements and business needs.
• Planning, implementing and overseeing risk-related programs, and maintain a risk register
• Provide reporting on the status and risk of Market Greater China’s compliance posture and report it in the relevant forum.
• Provide training and awareness to relevant employees and stakeholders
• Understand and keep abreast of changes in external regulatory environment and relevant laws, drafts, and guidelines as provided by government agencies
• Represent Philips in relevant regulatory bodies, industry forums and working groups to evaluate and provide feedback on (proposed-) standards and regulations

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following

• A Master’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 15 years in compliance management, preferably in the Medical field
• Information security management or audit qualifications such as CISM/ CISSP/ CISA/ CRISC
• Experience in the creation and enforcement of information security (including the sensitivity to establish a risk based view on compliance), including compliance reporting
• Deep knowledge of Laws and regulations on privacy, data protection, and breach notification, such as MLPS, DSL, PIPL, CII, CBDT, GDPR.
• Good understanding of the technical aspects of control sets, such as networking LAN/WAN, Server, Operating System, Cloud
• Excellent technical compliance skills, business acumen and analytical/strategic capabilities and project management skills.
• Experience working in a large global organization with practical experience in a highly regulated environment
• Strong interpersonal skills – communication, presentation, ability to influence and lead
• Self-motivated, positive attitude, and results-oriented
• English fluency
