In this role, you have the opportunity to

The position will play an important role in the development of new concept MRI system or MRI subsystems. This position has the opportunity to work with the world famous top-level scientists and experienced engineers of Philips. The post will suit an engineer ideally familiar with MR system, MR coil design who want to work in MR system.

You are responsible for

• Insight MR new technology & direction;
• Design & develop next generation system concept;
• MR system requirement definition;
• MR system integration & debug;
• Working with component teams for design and problem solving.
• Support the production & sites to solve the problems.

You are a part of

A progressive and energetic team that contributes directly to the growth of the business. You have a direct reporting line to the Head of MR system architecture, with Cross functional team as your key stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

All applicants are required to have the following:

• Willing to continue learning.
• Skilled in MR system or skilled in MR coil design or MR RF design.
• Familiar with MR theory, and MR application.
• Familiar with MR IQ.
• Familiar with Matlab.
• Strong computing skills.

Although not essential, it would be desirable if applicants have the following:

• RF simulation.  
• MR method design experience.
• HW design experience
• The ideal candidate will have good communication skills, will work well within a multi-disciplinary research team at Suzhou and will be committed to good design and have a good eye for detail. They will be innovative, and will strive to ensure designs are completed within the agreed timeframe to the highest possible standard.

The following skill or experience will be preferred:

• >5 years of MR coil design.
• >5 years of MR system design, have deep & systematical understanding of MR system.
• MR architecture design and whole system debug experience with new insight & innovation.
