In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better.
The position will play an important role in the development of new concept or product coil mechanical designs adding to the portfolio of RF Coil products, especially on transmit coil design and development.
You are responsible for
Designing and developing detailed mechanical parts for coils, including the whole system coil housing , coil connection.
Design and develop detailed mechanical designs for MRI RF coils to full product release. Engaging in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
You are a part of MRI R&D team.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
*Qualifications/Requirements
1. BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
2. Relevant work experience must include experience with MRI RF coils.
3. Relevant work experience must include experience with injection plastic parts design.
*Desired Characteristics
1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology related field.
2. Familiar with thermal analysis. Has experience on plastic and FR4 material prototyping and testing.
3. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in coil housing and connection design. Understand mold injection process.
4. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
5. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
6. Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
8. Global project experience
9. Healthcare regulatory experience
10. Familiar with ProE and other tools
